History Files - Vantage Point

The information collected from Points and Calculated Points by a Vantage Point Server is stored in a collection of history files. Each Point and Calculated Point will have its own history file. A history file is a .hist text file with the data stored as pipe-delimited values. A Vantage Point Presentation makes use of the history file, as can any third-party program that can utilize pipe-delimited values. The history files are located in the PointHistory folder inside the Server Configuration folder.

The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\VantagePointServer\Server Configuration\PointHistory
