The Presentation Designer always starts with a new presentation when you first open it but if you need to start a new presentation after working with another one. Click on the File menu in the top left-hand corner and select New.
Click on the File menu in the top left-hand corner and select Open. A file explorer window will open. Simply browse to the location of the presentation you wish to open and edit, click on the file, and then click on Open. If you have unsaved work in a presentation, the program will first prompt you to save it before allowing you to open another presentation.
Make sure that the display panel you wish to delete is the active panel, and then click on the Panel menu in the top left-hand corner and select Remove Panel. Alternately, in Windows, you can use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Delete once you have made the panel you want to delete the active panel.
Make sure that the display panel you wish to delete is the active panel and the make sure that you have no object on that panel selected by clicking on any unused area of the panel. Panel Properties will be shown on the right-hand side of the program. Check the button Skip In Slide Show.

Located at the bottom of the program are thumbnails of all the display panels in the presentation in the order that they will appear. Click and hold on the panel you want to relocate, drag it to the new position, and release the mouse button.
