Configures security settings for the Web Interface. Use this section to change the username and password used to login to the Vantage Point Server remotely.
History Settings
Configure how frequently recorded data is backed up into files by changing the Backup Interval.
Understanding the Backup Interval
The Backup Interval specifies the number of seconds over which every single history file will be saved.
The server will distribute the saving of each Point's history over the entire interval, rather than saving all of them at once (this prevents the server from freezing up and missing data from devices while saving)
This means if you specify a 60 second interval, and you have 60 different Points logging history, then the server will actually save one Point History File every second, rather than waiting 60 seconds, and then saving all of the history at once.
